Everything started from a PHD
BigProfiles was born from Lorenzo Luce’s PhD research in Artificial Intelligence at Roma Tre University.
During his scientific research, Lorenzo aimed to develop an AI algorithm capable of automatically generating predictive models on the behavior of large groups of people.
It was only with the involvement of his friend Roberto Visceglia, the company’s current COO, that the idea turned into a business.
Together, they founded BigProfiles, bringing to market an AI Platform that has received significant funding from major Italian venture capital funds.
After raising a 700.000€ seed round at the end of the Luiss Enlabs acceleration program, BigProfiles secured an additional 2.000.000€ round in 2022, led by CDP Venture and Zest.
